I received an old Minolta camera from my grandfather when I was just a girl, and that gift sparked what would become my passion for photography. Since then, I have shot anything and everything that would sit still, and even things that wouldn't.I switched to the Nikon format about 15 years ago, and went digital 2 years ago. I love the "instant gratification" that digital provides. I can honestly say that I don't miss loading film into my camera. I love the flexibility of digital files and PhotoShop.
One thing that I love about photography is the challenge of getting that defining shot--capturing the spirit and energy of a child, showcasing the beauty of a mom's pregnant belly, getting everyone in the family looking their best at the same time. It is truly what I love.
